Hello! I am an experienced illustrator and novice vegetable farmer in Otsego county NY, with a passion for promoting the importance of local food for a sustainable future through visual art. I make whimsical, colorful, graphic illustrations in digital and traditional mediums inspired by the people and places where I live and work. I am always looking to connect and collaborate with other people. I am interested in contributing to creative solutions addressing problems like food insecurity and biodiversity loss.

 

I’ve been an illustrator for enamel collectors pins since 2007 for clients including Disney and Hard Rock Cafe, a pin up boy illustrator (PinupBoyArt.com) since 2015, and figure drawing teacher since 2017 (DrawSpeak.com). In 2022 I co-founded Thistlemint Farm, an organic vegetable farm selling produce and art at local markets, where I design greeting cards, signs, and fliers alongside farm work. I have also created signs, ads, and labels for Fort Hill organic vegetable farm for five years and I do design work for community events in Oneonta like Pride.

In addition to drawing and farming, I like scifi, magic, creatures, animation, delicious meals, and natural building. Themes from these things also influence my work.
